These Terms apply to all web-based PDF conversion/editing tools provided by PDFNavi (the “Company” or the “Service”).
By accessing or using the Service, you are deemed to have accepted these Terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the Service immediately.
Eligibility and Restrictions
The Service is intended for users aged 14 or older.
You may not use the Service where it is prohibited by law or for unlawful purposes.
Service Provision and Changes
The Service is provided for immediate use in your browser, and some features may be available without an account.
We may modify or suspend features for system maintenance, security, performance improvement, or policy compliance. Given the nature of a free service, no warranty is offered regarding availability, fitness for a particular purpose, or continuity.
User Content—Rights and Responsibilities
You must have lawful rights to all files and data you upload or process, and you must not upload materials that are unlawful or infringe others’ rights.
The Service copies and processes files only to the extent necessary to perform the requested operations (merge, convert, edit, etc.) and does not use file contents for commercial purposes.
- You are solely responsible for any third-party claims, disputes, or damages arising from your use of the Service.
- Where you intentionally or through gross negligence cause harm to others, you may be liable under applicable law.
Prohibited Conduct (Acceptable Use Policy)
Activities that threaten service stability, security, or others’ rights are prohibited.
- Excessive load via automated bulk requests, scraping, or crawling
- Vulnerability scanning or intrusion attempts; distribution of malware or spam
- Transmission of illegal, obscene, or hateful content; unauthorized processing of personal or confidential information
- Infringement of copyrights or other IP rights; reverse engineering or attempts to analyze source code
- Bypassing, tampering with, or disrupting the Service or its network components
Violations may result in restrictions or blocking without prior notice.
Fair Use and Rate Limits
To provide stable quality for all users, we may impose reasonable limits on throughput, file size, or concurrent jobs.
- Large-scale conversions or abnormal repetitive requests may be delayed or blocked automatically.
- Operational limits may be adjusted with notice when necessary.
Intellectual Property
All trademarks, logos, UI elements, source code, and documentation related to the Service are owned by the Company or its licensors.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or reverse engineer beyond what is permitted by these Terms and applicable laws.
Third-Party Services/Open Source
The Service may integrate with third-party infrastructure, analytics, or CDNs, which may be subject to their own terms and policies.
Where we use open-source software, we comply with the relevant license terms.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided “as is,” without express or implied warranties, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or availability.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential damages, or data loss.
Absent gross negligence or willful misconduct, the Company’s total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service during the last three months (0 KRW for free services).
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold the Company harmless from third-party claims, disputes, or costs arising out of your breach of these Terms, rights violations, or unlawful acts, and to cooperate in defense and mitigation.
Restrictions and Termination
Where violations of these Terms or laws, security threats, or infringements of others’ rights are confirmed, the Company may restrict or block access without prior notice.
You may stop using the Service at any time and, where an account feature exists, may terminate your account.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and disputes may be brought before a competent court.
Mandatory consumer protection rules prevail where applicable.
Dispute Resolution
In case of dispute, the parties shall first endeavor to resolve it amicably through good-faith discussions.
If no agreement is reached, disputes may be resolved by a competent court judgment or by arbitration under applicable commercial arbitration rules.
Feedback
Ideas, suggestions, or feedback you provide may be used without confidentiality obligations or compensation.
Notices
Important notices may be delivered by reasonable means such as a website notice, in-service alerts, or the registered email address.
Changes
We may amend these Terms as our Service or applicable laws change, and material changes will be announced in advance by reasonable means (e.g., website notice or email).
Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the amended Terms.
